The Gladewater Bears defeated the Sabine Cardinals 35-6 Friday night to claim the 6-3A D1 District Championship and the #1 seed in the playoffs.
The Bears will have a bye week next week and will wait to see who they will face in the first round of the playoffs.
The Bears are now 7-2 overall on the season and undefeated in loop play at 6-0.
