BRYAN – Canadian quarterback Camren Cavalier and Brock linebacker Cooper Massey were named the Blue Bell/Texas Sports Writers Association’s Class 3A players of the year.
Cavalier passed for 3,951 yards with 59 touchdowns only three interceptions to grab offensive player of the year. He added 1,494 yards rushing with 24 more touchdowns for the 14-1 Wildcats.
Massey had 238 tackles, 40 of them for losses in leading his team to an 11-4 record to grab defensive honors.
