Spring Clean-up set for Saturday morning

City Hall’s angling for another fresh start this season – the 2025 Spring Clean-up is Saturday downtown.
The free event runs from 8 a.m. to noon at the manned collection site on East Commerce Street.
“Join us for a community clean-up and help keep Gladewater beautiful,” City of Gladewater reminded social media followers Monday. “Bring your friends, family and that neighbor who’s always down to do good.”
Gladewater Public Works personnel, city employees and volunteers will all be on hand to wrangle residents trash into complimentary roll-off trash containers.
Additional volunteers would be welcome – sign up with a call to City Hall at 903-845-2196.
Importantly, the no-cost collection cannot accept tires, paint, shingles, batteries, refrigerants, oil, chemicals or commercial waste.
