Motorists are urged to take alternate routes Thursday to avoid delays during work on SH 42 in Gregg County. TxDOT crews will be addressing routine bridge maintenance from US 80 to FM 1252 between White Oak and Kilgore throughout the day. Drivers can expect lane closures and delays. Caution is advised for travel along SH 42 during this work. Slow down and pay attention as flaggers will be conducting traffic control.
